The Soul Healer by Melissa Giorgio

Silver Moon Saga #2

The Soul Healer
It’s been two months since Gabi Harkins first learned of demons and the mysterious hunters who battle them. After discovering a few unbelievable surprises about herself, she simply wants to settle into a normal routine that involves dating her boyfriend Rafe Fitzgerald, hanging out with her friends, and eating lots of dessert.

But when her peaceful life is destroyed by the ultimate of betrayals, Gabi must rely on her wits—and a few new crazy friends—to survive her hardest challenges yet. The sequel to The Sight Seer combines action, romance, and a healthy dose of humor as Gabi struggles to learn the truth about the secrets that surround her life.

Review

After de events of the first book, we know that Evan contacted the Silver Moon and told them about Gabi's healing powers.
The book begins with christmas preparation and gift wrapping while Gabi can't get out of spending a whole week with her father's relatives and can't take Rafe with her neither.

But as always thinggs don't exactly go how they plan and Gabi ends up in Silver Moon's Headquarters, betrayed by Evan.
Even though we don't get much demon action in this book and not much romance given the fact that Gabi was kidnapped and locked in the headquarters away from Rafe, this book still has a lot of action happening and new characters to like and I put off reading this book after reading The Sigh Seer and An Autumn Dream for whatever reason and now I just finished it in a couple hours.

I loved Phil and Kain and they are very funny, and I can't help but love them. I didn't know what to think about Evan. I know his reasons but I was very upset with his decision and even after he realised it, he still wasn't that helpful.
I hated the director of Silver Moon and the two perverts that kept appearing in the book. By the end of the book I wasn't as hateful towards the director. But Silver Moon is messed up real bad.

The whole Soul Healer is another interesting info, what exactly is Gabi and why she has that power if this whole Soul Healer is so rare.
There are a lot of thing to discover about Gabi and her powers, about the things they found out about Rafe's parents, about the whole Silver Moon organization and even the simple things like Evan and his girlfriend and Phil and Kain.
Great book, hard to put down (that's why I only put it after I finished it).
