And to others, they are too dangerous to allow her to live.Let's hope she can stay hidden.

Review

Christine or Leah (how she was named when she arrived at the catholic boarding school as an infant orphan) grew up thinking that she was evil and a souless witch that should have been burn years ago when the war against the witchs and wizards took place and almost destroyed the world. She always thought that she didn't have feelings or even a heart because she always thought how she could kill all the girls that often mocked her and bullied her for being a quiet girl, she always thought she was meant to be alone to hide from Lydia Shaw, the hero that killed all the witches in the world. But is that all?

This book is amazing! I gotta say that I always like a book that puts together several magical kind of beings together or at least a lot of characters to get to know about.

After Christine almost lost control of her "evil witch" magic, she is found and rescued by a woman that claims to be a witch herself. Christine then discover that magical kind hasn't been completely killed like the government makes people think. And that there is a much worse kind besides the magical one, and she may be one of them.

When I first read this book some time ago, I couldn' t fully understand Christine personality and all her negative thoughts, but reading again now, I get to understand her a lot and sometimes even imagining myself in her skin.

There's just so much to learn in this book, the wrong things Christine learned in her orphanage, the way magical kind lives and even some things about herself and her family.

As far as I know, there's no love triangle which I love because the romance between Christine and Nathan is so adorable and because they had similar treating when it came to their powers that they just seem perfect to each other

In this book I laugh, I awwed, I got angry, I cried and so on, I really felt like Christine while I was reading.

I think this is a perfect beginning of a series. And the other 3 books have been released too.
